Brian directs Illingworth-Kilgust Mechanical’s building control systems designers, programmers, project managers, and installation team. He is responsible for oversight of operations within the control division, including estimating, scheduling, project execution, and management.
Brian's efforts help to ensure that company resources and energies are being leveraged as effectively as possible to provide clients building automation systems (BAS) that meet their needs today and well into the future.
Expertise
Brian has more than a decade of industry experience working with BAS technology. He has held multiple leadership and management positions, acquiring hands-on technical expertise in automation technology while also developing invaluable project management, project tracking, estimating, sales, and vendor management skills, among others.
In addition to his career in the private sector, Brian also served in the United States Marine Corp as an Aviation Electrician and Workshop Supervisor for more than five years, during which time he was recognized with multiple awards and commendations.
Brian completed course work in business management and marketing from Eastern Michigan University and Roosevelt University, and attended the Marine Corps Leadership Training Course. He is Niagra N4 certified and holds multiple factory certifications.
